Welkom op mijn website. Ik zal me even voorstellen. Ik ben Margré Feijen-Keur, woon in Smilde (Drenthe) en ben al 35 jaar fokker van zijdehoenders.Ik begon met mijn hobby met wat krielkippen in de achtertuin van een eengezinswoning. Door het plezier en de affiniteit met de dieren groeide mijn hobby al snel uit. Ik ben me gaan specialiseren in zijdehoenders, omdat ik deze erg mooi vind. Ik merkte dat de parelgrijze in Nederland eigenlijk zeldzaam waren. Daarom heb ik me toegelegd op deze soort en wilde vooral hun bijzondere kleur optimaliseren. De erkenningen en prijzen die ik krijg voor mijn dieren laten zien dat ik daar goed in ben geslaagd. Inmiddels is mijn hobby behoorlijk uitgegroeid. De huisvesting voor de dieren groeide mee.
Met deze website wil ik ieder die belangstelling heeft voor het fokken van zijdehoenders en kwartels informatie geven. Op de site vind je de nodige ervaring en tips die ik graag wil doorgeven. Natuurlijk is het ook mogelijk om kuikens bij mij te kopen, zodat je zelf verder kunt fokken met je eigen toom. Succes!

Welcome to my website. I will introduce myself. I am Margré Feijen-Keur, live in Smilde (province of Drenthe. The Netherlands) and since 30 years I am a breeder of silky's.
I started my hobby with some Bantams in the back yard of a house in a block.Because of the pleasure and the affinity with the animals my hobby developed fast. I started specializing in silky's, because I found them very beautiful. I found out that the pearl grey were rare in The Netherlands.Therefore I specialised in this sort and especially wanted to optimize its particular color. The recognitions and awards which I get for my indicate that I succeeded very well. Meanwhile my hobby expanded considerably. The accommondation for the animals grew accordingly.
With this website I want to provide for all those who are interested in breeding for silky's and quails. On the site you will find the neccessary and hint which I want to pass on.Of coure it is also possible to buy chickens from me, so that you can continue breeding with your ouwn litter. Good luck !
